Charge 5 not responding

My Fitbit Charge 5 is dead after 14 months. It could not be recharged nor switch on,  completely dead.

What good is a Fitbit that could not work? nor without any help.

Thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

Let me know if you're able to see anything on the screen when you connect it to the charging cable. Before considering other options, make sure to try these steps hat have been useful for other users experiencing display issues: 

  1. Complete the 3 pulse restart procedure using the charging cable. 
  2. Please follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device. 
  3. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
  4. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tap to see if a firmware banner appears. 
  5. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

Mine died around 6 months of use.  Now the replacement isn’t detecting my heart rate and the battery is draining in a day…and I’ve had it less than 6 months.  I made the original purchase last year around Black Friday and only started using it in December 2021 and twice I’ve had issues.
