Can't log into the app at all (New user, Charge 5)

Hey all,

So today I got my Fitbit Charge 5. I charged ita battery to 100% then downloaded the Android app. Well, I cannot log into it in any way.

When the app boots up, I have two options:

Continue with Google

Log in with Fitbit

When I tap on the former, a Google page aplears, prompting me to add a Google account. If I try to add my Google account, it just says "this account is already on your device".

So then I try the other option, "Log in with Fitbit", thinking I can just enter my Google account credentials and log into the app. Nope, invalid credentials. I tap on "Forgot password" and no e-mail is sent to me.

I try to log onto the website and there's no mention of a password or password recovery anywhere. I can actually log in with my Google account on the website though.

What is going on please?

You might have better luck posting in the Android App forum as your issue is with the app and not the device.
