I can't swipe on my charge 5 screen. Sometimes it does work but not really as expected. The screen only responds to double tap and wakes up. I tried restarting it, changing the clock face and all the usual tricks without any success. Itt is worse every day. And now my charge 5 has been tracking I don't know what activity for more than one day and I can't stop it. Please help, it makes me getting really frustrated!
I have got the same problem since today. Double tap is working, the screen wakes up. But I'm not able to swipe the charge 5 screen.
I had the update the 29th of November and since then my charge 5 is not tracking my sleep anymore either.
And by the way: I hate the new display in the app
This what I found here in the Netherlands about the answer from Fitbit to all the problems:
As a solution for affected consumers, Fitbit customer service is reportedly offering a 35% discount code towards the purchase of a new Fitbit device, provided your Charge 5 is still under warranty. If not, there is no solution. Unfortunately, there also doesn't seem to be a way to prevent the Charge 5 from updating automatically. We don't know if the update has been discontinued as reports of issues are still coming in.

Best Answermy fitbit is not in warrant period, y have stumbled on the same stone twice, first with the charge which y got a replacement but did not last long and now this, a pity, will not buy again. thans for the information
