Charge 5 Bands- Breaking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My new Fitbit 5 only 3 days old...the band already broke.  I have tried to connect with support and they send me to a warranty site, but the url keeps crashing and will not accept my information.

Frustrated with new band update.

I’m now on my third Fitbit because of this same issue.  I started with a Charge 4 that I bought from Best Buy and the band started breaking free from top of the watch body within 2 days.  Within 5 days a piece of plastic broke off so that the band would no longer attach at all so I took it back to Best Buy and they swapped it out.  The new one did the same within 3 months, rendering it unusable.  So when the Charge 5 came out, I bought one thinking maybe this issue has been fixed.  Got the Charge 5 just before Christmas and the band is already breaking away constantly, so it’s only a matter of time before this one breaks completely, too.  So disappointed because I love Fit Bits, I just can’t seem to find one that will stay on my wrist!

Hello @BJS80550

This isn't the ideal solution, but if you have problems with the Fitbit connectors breaking but still want to keep using them, there are some 3rd party straps on Amazon that completely encompass the pebble part, so you don't need to involve the connectors.

I'm attaching a link to an example, but if you search you should be able to find more I think.

Rugged bands

I hope that helps a bit.
