I have tried searching for this topic and seached for how to turn off autosync on the IPhone app. Can't find it. I've owned a Charge 5 for less than an year and have had great battery life until in last week. Overnight it was lasting for a week to draining in 36 hours. I have no clue what happened or what settign might have been changed accidentally.

My replacement Fitbit is working out great. The real question is will it still work in 9 mths from now. I also looked at Apple and almost got one. The battery life of Apple Watches held me back. You have to charge them once a day. I don’t have that level of commitment to charge a product daily
I found reaching out through FB messenger the best and most productive.
Best AnswerMine started draining on Monday. I returned from an out of town trip. I haven't updated the firmware since i've been home. It worked perfectly fine until i got home so i have no idea what happened. I've also tried all the "fixes" and nothing is helping.
How do i find out if I'm still under warranty for a replacement?

I like the Charge 5 because its great at a few, simple use cases and the form-factor/industrial design is more comfortable/minimal than a smart watch.
The sudden battery discharge is a major trust-buster. I don't see any evidence that Fitbit or Google are doing anything to fix the problem. As it stands, the Charge 5 is completely unusable.
My main workout is swimming on a team, which requires me to wake up early for practice. The Charge 5 used to be great for setting the early alarm and tracking my activity. However, recently I woke up late for two workouts because the watch died overnight. The Charge 5 is preventing me from meeting my fitness goals.
-----------
If you use alarms and the Charge 5 dies at night, you won't get the alarm in the morning, which destroys trust in the product and Fitbit/Google.
It is now June of 2023. It has been 6 months... My device is out of warranty now and it dies in less than a day even though I only have had it a year and a half. This wasn't a gradual change like most battery devices it was sudden, one day my Fitbit went from lasting a week to dying in a day. Offer replacements for everyone with the issue. This is a clear defect with your device.
FIX THE ISSUE!
I've had my Fitbit since April and now in June in it won't hold a charge for more then an hour.
Nothing will fix it.
They should definitely be warranting these things for people since it's a common issue.
Best AnswerThey gave me a brand new unit and it is working fine even after updating the firmware. I don't know what the issue is but at least they stood by the warranty.
Best AnswerMine charges up to 100% and the moment you take it off the charger it goes to zero. I reached out and they told me that it was one month pass the warranty date, and they refuse to do anything. In my humble opinion, this is simply outrageous! It went from working fine to not working at all in less than a day.
Got a replacement charge 5 for screen issues. All was fine untili updated to 188.58
Battery life doesn't last a day! If I turn the GPS to phone only it lasts between 1-3 days. Why has google not fixed this yet? It's unbelievable that this product is completely broken by a simple update and I read six months later no fix at all.
