Here is my feedback.
For weeks now I have been experiencing problems with data on my dashboard. Yesterday no data was recorded. Today I have a little but it is not up to date and no data for anything other than a few out-of-date steps.
Last week for days I wrestled with a blank dashboard and finally got some data for a couple of days. I have been a Fitbit member since 2012 and a premium member for some time. I have had a Fitbit for well over a decade.
Some of these problems seem to stem from the transfer to Google; others from the latest update to Charge 5. I am growing very tired of spending money and time on problems not of my making. It seems that loyal customers do not matter any more.
I would appreciate some help on these problems but it is increasingly difficult and obscure on how to achieve this help. Help incidentally should not involve obscure steps to dealing with problems not of customers' making. Please fix these problems at your end.
Thanks
Maree

To edit the new UGLY sleep interface hours, the edit function is under the 3 dots upper right.
My Charge5 is still 188.58 on the watch. My phone sleeps at night so no update should happen overnight.
I'll be done with Fitbit when this watch dies. Totally incompetent company!
Edit: 3 dots upper right, not left

Yes the 3 dots edit the main log, but not the "other sleep" log, unless you search for it. Sometimes the"other log" will be short from the night/day before. You can't edit the main log until you edit the partial log. Usually it's on the day before, where you can edit it. If you shorten it to 10 minutes (I don't see a way to delete it), you can then edit today's log with a start time a minute after that log.
Usually there's no problem when there's just one log. But if you wake too long (or if it thinks you're awake too long) it will make 2 separate logs that can't be merged.

Ah that happens to me a lot as well. Normally I note the time in the sleep log stub (I call it) and delete it and edit the main log to reflect the time deleted. Have you tried to delete the log (both if there are 2 (how would they be displayed if there are 2)) and create a new one? I suspect that if you delete the sleep log entirely, the Edit menu selection won't be there! What an incompetent group of programmers!

My charge 5 also succumbed to the 194.91 failure. Ended up stuck in a constant reboot loop with no way out. Tried all available reset / restart options to no avail.
Luckily still under warranty and as per Hendrik55 post was able to get a replacement (refurb) from Google.
Also as per Hendrik55 post replacement is running 188.58.
I'm sure both of us will update the forum if 194.91 is unfortunately pushed to us and if we survive or fall over again.
Shame there is no facility to decline updates or roll-back.
Could have saved Google loads on warranty replacements and helpdesk time, not to mention a potential haemorrhage of it's user base .. or are they hoping everyone goes Pixel?
Adding some decent communication on issues / fault resolution, if such features were available, wouldn't go a miss either. 🙄

Same story. Working perfect then woke up to drained battery. No help from customer service, but I actually feel bad for them they didn't do this, programmers did. I have used a Fitbit daily for 8 years. Now this one it is useless. Good Bye Fitbit

the update broke my charge 5.
On startup it briefly flashes the fitbit logo then goes black and will come back on. It still connects via bluetooth.
I have tried all of the reset options available and changes watch faces but noting works. When will the next update be available, hopefully it will fix it.

I’m ready to throw my Charge 5 in the bin! It will not hold a charge, is less than 2 yrs old…so still under warranty! I’d rather not do battle with JB HiFi to replace it…so it anyone has a fix I would be grateful!

It would appear my Charge 5 has done the update…but now the battery is rapidly going flat…with no warning! What is the fix for this…or are you proposing replacing these duff fitbits?

Another case of update breaking the Fitbit and making it useless. Are there plans for another update? How do we get this fixed? It's so obvious the firmware broke it. Or has the firmware essentially bricked all these and they don't want to replace them??

Anyone know of a good competitor for the charge 5? Don’t really want an Apple Watch

Everyone complaining about the firmware update or the app update? I'm still on 188.58, but it's the app that changed all the graphs.

Thank you, Google, for the lousy updates. Now my Fitbit isn't tracking my sleep accurately anymore since 3 days - only thinks I slept 1 to 3 hours after a full night. Wasn't it Google who once said "Don't be evil"? Lies, lies, lies. Greed, greed, greed.

I got a Garmin Venu Sq2 because I was fed up with all the problems with my Fitbit.
It is better than the Fitbit in all aspects and have excellent battery life (11 days +).
Also there is lots of nice watch faces to choose from and I can get all important stats
on one screen without tapping or swiping multiple times.
