I see this is a very common issue. I have read every post on this, and no solution has worked for me. I had this exact issue 8 months ago. It occurred when the fitbit was wet with sweat (it's hot here in Texas). I've had frozen logo on screen, flashing logo on screen, and the red X. It is currently flashing the logo. I have done the 3-press reset at least 30 times. I would like a replacement. I don't want to jump through all the hoops with support like I did last time. I've performed ALL of the troubleshooting techiniques. Please have support contat me to initiate a replacement. Thank you.

Hi, @geigreg, you need to contact "Customer Support" yourself, use the Chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good idea, before you call, to make notes of the steps you have taken and the results so you can brief the agent accurately and allow them to move forward without delay.
You do not mention how long you have had your "Charge 5", you may still have the benefit of Fitbit's warranty. Make a note of where & when you bought the device as the agent will need these details if they are relevant.
