Charge 5 HR is inconsistent

Anyone having issues with a Charge 5 not tracking HR during exercise? I replaced my Versa Lite with this new charge 5, but very unhappy with it.  It tells me my HR is 150 while walking up a steep hill and then it will say its only 98, which is not possible.  If I switch sides. It will work again for awhile,  but it's very frustrating to have to stop midway and switch it to the other arm. It almost seems like if my arm gets the least bit sweaty, it stops reading properly.  I am about ready to pitch it out into traffic...or send it back.

Before considering other options, I would recommend performing a restart and to follow all the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
