Charge 5 HR stopped working

My Charge 5 stopped tracking my heart rate. Everything else works fine, but the lights at the back of the watch also used to flash momentarily when I took the watch off, but they don't work at all now.

I've tried all the tips for resetting the heart rate monitor, but nothing has worked.

The green light on the back of your Charge 5 is the heart rate sensor. You should be able to see it when you put your finger across the back of the Charge 5, then lift your finger. If you're not seeing the green light, then you have a defective device and should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link)

I've had this device since Christmas 2022. Everything was fine till 3 days
ago, then suddenly the green light stopped working. I only noticed when I
saw that it wasn't showing my heart rate.
