My resting heart rate on Fitbit reads around 74 to 80. Resting, its been as high as 86! Even when I sleep, it stays around 75, which is weird. I was concerned for a while that something else was going on.
I'd say I'm very in shape (distance runner) and I'm a pretty small frame. I did just get diagnosed with hypothyroidism so thought maybe my heart rate is just higher due to an imbalance & would even out once I got settled on levothyroxine.
However, every time I go to the doctor, my HR is at least 20 bpm lower than what I see on my Fitbit. Today I went to my doctor for a check up and it was 49 bpm, while at the same time my Fitbit read 75 bpm!
Anyone else have this issue? should I just assume my HR is 20 bpm lower than what Fitbit is showing me?
