The Charge 5 accurately monitors my pulse, and under 'Pace' shows Low and High pace. The Active Zone Minutes correctly counts my minutes in the zone, but when I check Heart Zones in the exercise tab I get the message. "Not enough heart rate data available." To see if the app is receiving the data I checked under Heart Rate, and it is receiving the data. Do I have to have the Fitbit recording data for a certain number of days to get a baseline first?

I figured it out-the documentation says nothing about it. I can have my pulse recorded in my exercise record AFTER finishing my exercise but not have real-time distance, pace, and course by starting and stopping the exercise from my Fitbit, or I can have that real-time data without the pulse being recorded with the exercise (it is still recorded separately but I can't tell where on the course I was slacking).
I am going to use the Samsung Health app for the real-time course, distance, pace, etc. instead of the Fitbit app, partly because the contrast of the map portion of the Fitbit real-time data is so poor as to be almost unreadable.

Hello @OrWxGuesser
Do you check it after some times has elapsed after the exercise ? It can take several minutes for the heart data to show. If you checked more than 15-30 minutes after the exercise ended, make sure you sync between your Charge 5 and your phone.

Well, it has been several days, and still nothing in the details of the exercise (walking in this case). I haven't done an official exercise in 2 days because I got a nice workout working in the yard. In the workout "zone" for nearly 3 hours.
I must say that my Fitbit does a MUCH better job of tracking my pulse when exercising than my former fitness tracker (Samsung Gear Fit 2)

I have this issue when I track exercise from within the app. However, if I start my workout on my Charge 5, the heart rate tab on the map will populate the zones without issue. Support chat said this is a known issue, and fitbit should have an update ready in 1-2 weeks. Fingers crossed! For the time being, I know to track my workouts from my device if I want the heart rate zones.
