Charge 5 Little Black Flakes?

Anyone else take off their Charge 5 and find some small thin rubbery/silicone flakes sticking out from the edge of the underside of the tracker? I wish I would have taken pictures before I wiped/peeled most of it away. I assume it is some sort of waterproofing material.

Sad to hear that your having an issue with your Charge 5.
As what you've mentioned shouldn't happen when you're using genuine Fitbit bands with your device, I'd suggest to contact Fitbit support for further assistance on that:
