Charge 5 - Logo just flashing - cannot reset

I read all the posts regarding this issue however, nothing seems to work.  What am I missing?

Did you happen to read and try the suggestion in this post: Flashing logo on Charge 5 (<-- click link)? Some users have reported that this unusual method worked to bring their device back to life.

Well, I must be the unluckiest MF (those are my actual initials :)) on the planet using this trick, it did not work.  😞
