Charge 5 Not Working

When forced to change over to a Google login late last year Fitbit became completely unusable for me. I have a Charge 5.

First issue: device immediately stopped recording any data.

Second issue: app constantly showed synching apps even though I have no associated apps with Fitbit.

Third issue: I was working somewhere with no wi-fi & reliant on mobile data. An entire months worth of data allowance disappeared in three days.

This was all immediately after the change over to Google & installation of the update in Oct/Nov 25. Seriously unimpressed that I now have a non-functioning bit of plastic & that Fitbit are completely denying any connection with changes at supplier end.
