Charge 5 is stuck on 231 steps per hour won’t update??

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is stuck on 231 steps per hour.

I'll be glad to suggest you some advices. 

Could you please confirm: 
If you have already tried to sync your device ? Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Have you already tried restarting the device ? How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Have you already changed the clock face as explained here: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
