My Charge 5 almost never tracks my breathing rate during sleep. I had my charge 5 replaced once and when I got the new one it worked fine for about 2 months, then would only track it 2-3 times a week. Now it only tracks my breathing rate during sleep about 1-2 times every 2-3 weeks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Coachwife.

Thank you for sharing this information about the inconvenience that you've been experiencing with your breathing rate.

Before considering other options, please verify that your Fitbit has logged a sleep session for at least three hours long on consecutive nights. If you're still having issue, make sure to complete a restart procedure. Keep in mind that only sleep periods greater than 3 hours are considered and that you need to wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night.

In case the problem is related to the app, please follow the steps listed here below:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your data.
