This is my 2nd Fitbit similar things happened with my first very first Fitbit and the support given just took me in circles i later discovered through these chat forums lots of other people has the same issue and the conclusion was Fitbit lientoy to purchase a newer model
the same has now happened with my charge 5 after some time owning this and it’s a repeat performance
poor Fitbit design that encourages product abandonment and poor sustainability business models they simply want you to but the next model
we Fitbit you are poor and I’m really annoyed with the business -
garmin doesn’t do this so you are losing my custom now - it’s been nice knowing you but you have not updated your business model and there are share communities out there from differing devices so our Fitbit group can stay together on another platform

My solution to the Charge 5 issues since software version 194.91 was released is a confirmed fix!! I bought an iWatch. Bye bye Google/Fitbit!

I've owned a fitbit since the original belt clip-on model (approx. 12 years). This (Charge 5) will be my last one. From one day to the next it went from lasting 6 days to lasting about 1.5 days. No GPS, no notifications or integrations, removed SPO2 app. Made no difference at all. As often as it happens Gotta believe it is planned behavior to get you to buy new model.
