Hello @Ria2063
When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for you, it might be worth a try.

Hi there, @Ria2063. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Charge 5 is draining quickly. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this! @RiekoC I appreciate your input!
As a first approach, please bear in mind that as all rechargeable batteries age, they deteriorate to some extent and an older device will need to be charged more often than a new one. The best way of minimizing this effect is to avoid deep discharges of the battery. To maximize the overall life of your Fitbit device's battery, ideally keep it between 20-80%. Many people find that a daily battery boost works best ( e.g. giving it a 15 minutes charge while you are showering in the morning).
If you haven't done so yet, please see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Fitbit battery
Mine started playing up over last 10 days, there is other threads with lots having some problem I logged a few days as below until its worst discharge yesterday, I’ve even checked whether battery repalcement was a diy job which for me could be
I left on charge all night last night and it showed 0% this morning , I unplugged cleaned terminals with acetone and put on charge again, to my surprise been out for a bike ride today expecting the watch to be dead but it’s recorded it and holding charge a lot better
i have tried resetting to defaults , pressing the charge lead button 3 times in 8 seconds and also lots charging
there was talk of updates / google causing issues as my battery went from lasting days to flat in half a day and then within minutes
but now doing a bit better fingers crossed
good advice reikoC
