Mine too. Last week I noticed my Charge 5 battery was draining quickly. Went from about 89% in the AM to zip by mid afternoon. I usually get just over a week before needing to recharge. I charged it Sunday. Today, Tuesday it was 80% this morning and down to 6% early evening.

Mine as well…… since the update a couple days ago. It also won’t track my heart rate or says it’s double what it actually is. Hopefully the issue gets fixed soon!!

I’ve been having the same issue since the update. It died on me last night for the first time despite following the same routine. The percentage falls very quickly. I’ve done the reset with the plug button plus the reset from settings. Update 20001.194.9.

Same problem here. Mine is 11 months old. Talked to the FitBit Support and they just said my Charge 5 was purchased on a non authorized reseller, and because of that I have to go after them. Shame on you Google. This is my third unit, Fitbit costumer for more than 10 years, and this is how they take care of us.

I had this exact issue and contacted Fitbit who confirmed there was an issue and said I was eligible for a replacement as my Fitbit was only 6 months old. Got the replacement today and it’s a refurbished one, is that actually legal?? I buy a brand new Fitbit which dies and they send me a second hand one as a replacement?

I bought mine in November 2023. Seems like they should send you a new one rather than a refurbished one.

Notice a diferent thing. It does not drains the battery. It just turns off. (Is there a way to turn it back on without the charger) when I plugg it to the charger it just turns back on. No need to charge, since the battery is still above 60%.

Same issue. Battery drains within a few hours after charging. Have had my charge 5 for about a year and a half. Worked fine until a couple weeks ago. Have tried all suggested “fixes”.

Mine is not drained. Just looked to the Fitbit. It is off. Plugged to the cable just to notice it shakes a little and it turns back on with 97% battery. Really upset with the Charge 5. Any suggestion for a substitute? from a different brand that values their customer.
