Hello.
My charge 5 battery is getting charged and drained again in few minutes.!
Last week had complained that my charge 5 restarted with no battery on its own and I lost my data of that day.
Since yesterday night I am charging it..it chargers erratically..is on for a bit And off again.
This is already my company replacement charge5 device as earlier too due to battery issue the company had replaced new device for me.
Please help..as my charge 5 is rendered useless as of now..:(

Hello..it's unfortunate that the customer executive said the only thing I can do now is buy a new product..:(
These fitbit it seems have a shelf life of 1 to 1.5 years max!
My first charge 5 was replaced as it had issues within a year...
The new one ( the current one) is only 1.5 years old and already it's battery drainage issue.
I have been reading up that this seems to be an issue with this product .It's unfortunate that such expensive products have such little battery shelf life.
Please push for a replacement of the existing charge 5 as I don't know how the product can be made in such a way that the batteries last Max 1.5years only
All forums and articles suggest that there is an issue..:(
Unfortunate investment I must say.

My Charge 5 suddenly started eating battery, just after switching to using my Google account. I noticed that the report now has Breathing Rate and Heart Rate Variability data which were not present before.
Support initially offered 35% discount on a new one. I protested and also noted that the device was getting hot while recharging. I was switched to another team, asked questions about when it first started getting hot and then offered a free replacement which arrived in 48 hours 🙂. It has the earlier firmware 188. I'm guessing that 194 has a problem lurking, waiting for a reconfiguration to turn it on!
