Charge 5 suddenly stopped tracking steps and heart rate. Battery life decreased to less than 4 hours. Device has been in use for about a year. Tried restarting no change. Turned heart monitoring on and off. Device has been used about 8 months

Hi, @61Nancy, welcome to the community, I think your best move will be to talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. I recommend before making your call you note the steps you have taken and the results so you can brief the agent clearly & ensure they can quickly bring forward a solution. You may still have the benefit of Fitbit's warranty depending on when & where you bought the device, they will need this information from you.
