After I updated to the latest version of my Fitbit Charge 5 watch, the battery performance dropped a lot from 7 DAYS TO ONE DAY

Hi @Andrei.ucu

Have you tried connecting the wwatch to the charger, plugging it into a power source and then pressing the button on the end of the charger. This will perform a restart, and hopefully solve your battery drain issue.

I think the only other option you've got is a factory reset.

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. Open the Settings app

    Device Info

    Clear User Data.

  3. Swipe up, then press Hold 3 Sec for 3 seconds and release.
  4. When you see the Fitbit logo and Charge 5 vibrates, your data is erased.

If this doesn't make any difference then it could be a hardware issue. For that you will need to contact customer support (here).

No fix worked for me when I had this problem last week. I was still under warranty so Fitbit is replacing it. I’m really frustrated because this is the second charge 5 I’ve had to replace in less than 12 months. I’ve been a charge user since they came out and I’ve never experienced this before. I used to have to replace the bands, not the charge itself.

I'm having same issue, except my battery has been draining fast for a couple weeks. Yesterday I checked the battery and it was about 44%, this morning I woke up and my Fitbit was dead. Very exasperating. My last Fitbit didn't last a year and I decided to go with another since I have all my info on the app. If this keeps up, I'm making the move to Apple watch as much as I don't want to.

Ugh. This is probably my answer too then.
