Charge 5 battery issues

I charge my fitbit charge 5 and won't reach 100% anymore. When I take it off the charger it loses it charge quickly in 3 to 4 hours. I've cleaned the connections. Did the hard reset with the button on charger. Tried different cables and did firmware update. Still does the same thing.

Hi, @KevinTracy68 welcome to the community, can you provide more information? When you charge your Charge 5 what % does it reach? 1% or 2% or much more. You may find this article & the included links useful to review your investigations - Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center

You do not mention how long you've had your Charge 5, sadly batteries do degrade with use due to the increasing number of charge/discharge cycles.

Let us know how you get on by posting here again.

Cheers

It will charge to 99% and stop. Never reached 100% anymore. It started this battery issue very quickly. I've had my charge 5 about 2 years.Sent from my Galaxy

Hi, @KevinTracy68 thanks for the feedback, I do not think 1% makes any difference. I think the loss of battery reserve is a more serious issue. You will see from the end of this thread  Re: Charge 5 Firmware Update 194.91 - Page 28 - Fitbit Community you are not alone.

Sorry, I cant be more helpful.

Cheers
