I've used my Charge 5 for 8 months with happiness; it held charge for around 4 days. I have chosen settings to minimize battery drain. A few days ago, there was a firmware update, and now the battery runs out within 24 hours. I sync to the app on a Pixel 5a. Since there were no other changes, I'm wondering if there's a bug in the software. It's really not useful anymore. Please help.

Wednesday I got the black screen, unesponsive. Managed to reset using charge cable, but since then heart rate monitor has stopped working (no exercise and sleep tracking anymore) and battery drains within a day.
Absolutely disgusted - I know google want to promote their own watches since buying out Fitbit but this is not the way to do it!

I’ve decided today I quit with FitBit. I have a second C5 for free because the first one died in 3 months. Since yesterday I can’t sync it anymore to the app, and the battery died in 2h after charging. For the amount of money, the extra money you need to pay for a premium, I’ve had it. It feels like scam to me.

My charge 5 completely looses battery within a few hours and stops tracking data when it does. At least with my old inspire I could have some data tracked when it had low battery. I got a pixel 7 pro over the weekend (6 days ago now) and transferred my Fitbit app to that phone. Not sure if there was an update when I transferred, but ever since it's been draining faster and faster each day. I got this watch ~6 months ago. My app says firmware version 57.20001.188.58 if that helps?
