My Fitbit just suddenly died. Black screen and no response to the charging cable. I have tried every option available to restart, and it won't restart! This is my second Charge 5. I think Fitbit just made a crappy device based on other commentary.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the community @Lamasteach.
Thank you for taking the time to share the details with me regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with your Charge 5. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own.
Please let me know if you see some light back of the device or is it vibrating when you try to reset it.
If the Charge 5 has no light and is not vibrating, follow the tips listed in this help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
If you confirm that the device is vibrating and you see the lights back of it, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Now, restart the device as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device. Restarting the device will not delete your data.
If restarting doesn't resolve the issue, change your clock face. If you manage to solve the difficulty you can go back to the original clock face.

I'm having the same problem. Have done all your suggested troubleshooting steps to no avail.

Yeah, it's complete BS. Happened out of nowhere; no solution from support and all they'll offer is 35% discount on another device that'll probably fail just outside of warranty as well. I have had more Fitbits than I want to admit and ALL of them have been faulty, total scam company at this stage
