I migrated to Google and lost ALL my data. My account migration to Google was initially failing because there was an older fitbit attached to my Google account. I remove the old Fitbit and successfully migrated my account. When I logged in with Google User/PW the Charge 5 was not attached, so I re-attached my Charge 5 and ALL history was gone from the account. This is very frustrating...I need that historical data. I can still log in to the web page with my old user and password, but the web account doesn't seem to have my history data file. Is there any way to retrieve the lost data?
I would try on phone BT forgetting the fitbit and reconnecting it and logging in to your old account and see if the information is there on phone. If so, then try migration again.
Best AnswerVery sorry to hear about that. Hopefully the Fitbit folks will jump in and offer some ideas...
Best AnswerPretty much the same story here.I downloaded my Fitbit data from Google to do some analysis. The only "data" provided was a cvs file with data relating to sleeping in monthly averages with headings for the data that left me guessing as to what it even is. Tried to compare the data with what I see on my phone Fitbit app (reverse engineering Google) which is what led me to the discovery that all of that "data" was clearly bogus. Garbage.
Five years of data. Daily sleep. Daily exercise. Biking, running, swimming, walking, workouts, etc.. All of it is simply gone.
@kmurphy2000 the key i see is that after you transferred, you said that the Charge 5 wasn't connected. The key here, not connected anymore. This tells me that you did not transfer your account. You have created a second, or should i day a third Fitbit account. I also notice that you are posting from an account created on 7/25/2025.
