Charge 5 blacked out no response

Charge 5 wont 3 button restart I get no response your firmware update is trash

I'm facing same issue. My tracker is syncing which means that only the screen issue is there

I have the same issue contacted support also 

 

mine doesn’t light up at all now after trying to reset again 

 

it’s not even a year old

Mine last synced 2 hours ago then I received a notice to update, now no display, and it will not connect to iPhone.

Hi everyone, thank you for sharing all your replies and for confirming that you've been experiencing the same problem. 

It seems that some if you have been able to resolve the problem or you were able to get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. 

If you haven't done so already or if you're still having this problem, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users:  

  1. Complete the 3 pulse restart procedure.
  2. Follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device. 
  3. Sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
  4. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tile to see if a firmware banner appears. 
  5. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.
