To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Best AnswerMy Charge 5 screen is also black. The device vibrates when I receive a notification. But the screen is black when tap it. It doesn’t light up when I charge it. And the reset with the power cord button didn’t fix it.
I also tried changing the clock face and it’s still black.

I have the same problem today. The Charge 5 vibrated Mike crazy and went blank.
I tried the reset method several times and it either does random vibration patterns or vibrates continuously as it is doing now.
I can log into it with app and see that it is fully charged.What's the next step?

Best AnswerHello everyone. I tried resetting several times with the button on the power cord (waiting the appropiate time between attempts) and did not recover the screen. The Chrage 5 vibrated when I tried to reset and also when I received a notification. I chatted with customer support and changed the watch face with the app on my phone as suggested. The screen on the Charge 5 continued black. Then customer service set me up for a return and hopefully a replacement.
