Charge 5 blank screen

My Fitbit Charge 5 is not displaying anything on the screen....it's just gone dark

same here--probably 10 hours ago. I have tried their 'fix' for a dark screen and no help. I should add; by "screen", i'm referring to my PC/laptop dashboard screen.

The first recommended troubleshooting step for a non-responsive screen is to restart your device. You'll need to use the charging cable that came with your Charge 5. Click here for more detailed instructions on: How to restart the Charge 5

Another troubleshooting step is to try changing the clock face. This has worked for some users. Click here for instructions on: How to Change the clock face This step sometimes will get your device "unstuck" and back to working normally. If it works, you can change back to the clock face you prefer.

It may take several tries at restarting and changing the clock face before determining that the recommended troubleshooting doesn't work. If these troubleshooting steps aren't successful in getting your Charge 5 screen to respond, the next step is contacting Fitbit support

any advice for a blank dashboard on the pc screen? the dashboard tab only shows a black screen, the 'log' and 'community' tabs are fine.
