I noticed last night my Fitbit wasn’t responding so I plugged it in overnight. The app says the battery is full and it is syncing normally. However even after restarting it by plugging it in and pressing the buttons it won’t turn on. The watch screen is black

Hi there, @Kantonides. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out.
To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Im having same issue. I have restarted several times, tried changing face, tried power cycling by letting it fully die and fully recharge. Nothing has fixed it. I still have black screen.

Hello & welcome @Kewlkleps
Since you have already tried the suggested troubleshooting steps, the next step would be to contact Fitbit support. They will likely walk you through the same troubleshooting steps that you've already tried. Once they confirm that none of the troubleshooting steps returns your device back to normal operation and, if it's still under warranty, they should send you an offer to replace the tracker/pebble or a discount on a different device. If your Charge 5 is out of warranty, then they should send a discount offer on a replacement. Note: the discount is on the full price even if it's on sale in the Fitbit store.
