Charge 5 blank screen

This afternoon my charge 5 screen went black and I have done all the steps recommended to start.  It vibrates and screen still black and fully charged.  Help!!!

Same thing happened yesterday with my charge 5. I was running and tracking the exercise, and the screen went black. Now it charges, tracks my heart rate, steps, etc… I can tell that as it syncs with my phone, but the screen is completely off. Also tried the restart steps and nothing happened.

Sad to hear you're having issues with your devices. Sometimes restarting Charge 5 needs more than one attempt to work, so please give it another try closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure. Before doing so you should make sure you've synced your device to not lose any data tracked so far. Next please :

1.) Connect Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

If that really won't work for you, please let your devices drain their batteries to the point where they switch off. Then give them a complete charge to see if their displays are working again.
