Hi there, @Goodman. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 5 is still blank. I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I am in the same position.
My Charge 5 just stopped working on Friday lunchtime (01 November 2024).
The app (Apple iPhone) can no longer detect or identify the watch, the 3 pulses approach when plugged in gets an occasional buzz, and the screen remains black aside from flashing white once or twice.
It is unresponsive and greatly missed. Please can you advise on what else I can be doing. It is not normal for it to be fully functioning and then essentially dead the next moment, when well looked after and maintained. The watch was purchased new July 2023.
thank you

Hi,
I had the same problem and it is possible due to contact with water. When I connected to charger it’s just flashing blue logo and that is all. I saw on app - iOS - that Fitbit is connected but nothing showing. I charge it full and recharge it fully few times. Due charging I also change few times watch design and remove and add again all possible apps from Fitbit iOS app. Fitbit show that received changes but nothing more. After few cycles charge/recharge, when I connected once again to charger it show me percentage and start working.
maybe it will help you.
i also once turn off and on Bluetooth in iPhone settings- but I didn’t make unpairing.
good luck

Thank you...I cant reset. The Charge 5 screen suddenly went black today and is unresponsive. It wont sync to android. I purchased under a year ago, My charger doesn't have any buttons on it. Is the cable different? Im wondering if its a software update issue and hoping it will suddenly come alive... but adding here just in case.
