Charge 5 blank screen

I have a Charge 5 and it randomly gets a black screen (its battery isnt dead) and wont turn on until put back on the charger. Resetting hasnt fixed it!

I'm contemplating buying a new Sense 2 but has anyone had similar issues with the Sense?

Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear about this issue regarding the black screen of your Charge 5. I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you tried. 

Please try the following steps: 

Sync the device in the Fitbit app.

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
  2. Choose your Charge 5.
  3. Tap Sync Now.

Charge your Charge 5.

Double-check the connection: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port (computer or UL-certified wall charger).

You might want to browse the Sense 2 product help forums (<-- click) to see if the users are experiencing a similar issue.

Just keep in mind that these are product help forums, so the majority of posts will be from users who are having problems. Users who are happy with their devices don't usually come to product help forums to share their positive experiences.
