My Charge 5 was working well and showing 42% battery charge and then suddenly died. All efforts to restart have failed. I am traveling in India, how can I get help here?
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the forums @vvramanan1.
Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with your Charge 5 and for the attempts in order to fix it.
There are lights on the back of the device?
Please make sure to follow all the steps listed in this help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Confirm that you are trying to restart the device as indicated in this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit Charge 5?

Thank you, ManuFitbit!
I have tried everything you have suggested, and the Charge 5 still doesn't wake up.
Let me reiterate - it was working normally and had 42% charge available when it suddenly stopped working. I have been trying to restart the device without much success. Today, however, something interesting happened. I connected the charger and tried resetting by pushing the button in the charger three times. The display woke up and showed the Fitbit logo momentarily and then showed 2% charge available. I thought the problem has gone away when it continued charging at one point the charge level showed 28%. I left it to charge for a couple more hours. When I unplugged the charger, the display flickered for about 5 seconds then it was blank again and nothing I do can wake it up. All through this process, the lights in the back didn't flash even once.
The device was purchased in July 2022. Are these devices designed to last a couple of years or so and no more?
I would appreciate any other suggestion you may have. Thanks!
