Hello, my Fitbit charge 5 strap connector clasp just came off when I was removing the tracker to charger it. Any idea how to get this strap clasp/ connector fixed?

Hi, @ParthKulkarni , you shouldn’t need to disconnect the strap in order to charge your Fitbit and the band should stay firmly attached if it is properly clicked in. Is something on the Fitbit itself actually broken, or something on the band? Could you explain a little more or maybe post a picture so we can get a better idea to help you?

It says the strap connector broke as it was being removed from the wrist. The strap connector is that little tab that you pull down to disconnect the strap. There have been other reports of this breaking.

Hello…. It appears I’m almost a year late to the game here lol did you ever get that little piece fixed? If so, where and how did you go about it? It’s very unfortunate, that one little tiny piece. I have been all over town, we have a little store called “The Watch Doctor” and I was sure that man would be able to do it but nope and honestly he said he had the same exact issue as the owner of that store. I told him he should try to invest in finding a bunch of those little pieces and sell them lol. I would love to know how you went about fixing yours. I was given my Fitbit charge five as a birthday gift and I absolutely love it, I would really hate to have to stop wearing it because of that one little thing.

Hi @SunsetRunner
I suggest contacting Fitbit support about the broken piece on your Charge 5, especially if your device is still in warranty. They should able to send you a replacement tracker/pebble once they confirm there's a defect and it's still in warranty.
