I have had enough of Fitbit now! The last fw update made my watch battery drains within a couple of hours after previously having zero issues! I updated the Fitbit app last night hoping for a new fw update and there is nothing! Now my watch is completely unusable with a blank screen that doesn’t respond to touch or restart procedures!
so i now have a £130 useless paperweight as do hundreds of other Charge 5 users and Fitbit are willingly ignoring us all! It’s a disgrace and if it is not fixed ASAP! I will never buy another product from this company!
Edit: now the heart rate monitor has completely stopped working after managing to finally get it to turn back on! 😡

I seem to be having very similar issues after what I assume was a firmware update. It initially drained and died super quick this evening and then later got it to restart using the unplug 3 times in 8 seconds trick.
However it still doesn't seem to be in a stable condition as I can see it's restarting itself pretty frequently, and likewise no heart rate being detected. This is all feeling quite reminiscent of the issues from just over a year ago, which ended up being non recoverable - luckily then I was under warranty and got a free replacement.
Is there any recommended steps we can take this time around? Can the firmware issue be resolved? I get the feeling this is going to be another widespread problem with the last release

It be good if it was hundreds , but more like thousands. My two have been dead for over two years. I havnt heard of any charge 5 that has made it past the update. But they still want to say it's not the updates fault
