Charge 5 counting steps while driving - new feature request

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've recently bought a Charge 5 and was surprised to see it counting steps while I'm in car. I thought there would be an algorithm to establish I'm in the car that automatically disables steps (travelling above running speed for example).

I've done some research on the forum and found the suggestion of logging drives in the app, but this is long winded if you drive 3 miles to supermarket, wonder around for an hour and return.

I'd like to request a new featue to make logging driving more practical.  A simple app that displays on clock face with two buttons 'Disable Steps' and 'Enable Steps'.  Now you can disable steps as you walk to the car without going anywhere near the app.

I'd appreciate peoples thoughts and support for this new feature, is it worth adding?

Hello @Anders_UK

That sounds like a really great idea!

It might be worth posting it as a Feature Suggestion.  I’m attaching a link to the Charge trackers section.

I hope that helps a bit.

If you do end up making a suggestion, it would be good to post a link so people can find it and vote for it.
