Charge 5 crashing when using ECG app

When I try to use the ecg it goes to the screen and when you put your thumb and finger on the sides it goes blank and will not reset until I put it on charge and press the reset button. I have Afib and really need to monitor this

Yes I’ve tried the 3 pulse reset. It resets until I go to the ecg screen and then when I press the sides it goes blank and won’t return to any previous screen.
I don’t want to reregister as it asks to use a google account and I don’t want to use that account.
Any other ideas?
