Charge 5 - dark screen & discharging

+ 2 days ago, the screen turned black, but the Charge 5 still recorded
+ despite being charged more than half before going asleep (symbol showed "grey" but was still charged further), during last night to device turned off
+  charging today helped to get back to measuring again, but screen is still dark
+ change of clock faces and restarting the device - both did not help (both 3 times)
-> ISSUES: (I) screen ...as with other users plus (II) battery life time

I had full replacement it was 11 months old so just in the warranty.

Had online receipt too thankfully.

Did not have to return old one.

I bought it directly from FitBit as part of the Ionic recall.

Mine is completely dead now.
Another user suggested contacting my credit card company regarding their
extended warranty on purchases. They did agree to cover the purchase of a
new Charge 5, which was cheaper because of the 35% discount from Fitbit.

Amazon for broken one. Fitbit sent replacement.

Finally a resolution, it charged enough to sync and it was replaced 100% or an offer to buy another one at half price. See how the replacment goes.
