Charge 5 dead after 19 months

My Charge 5 display went black and wouldn't respond. For about a week it would still charge and sync to the app, but the display didn't come back. I tried to reset by plugging in charging cord and pushing the cord button 3 times in 10 seconds, but it didn’t fix the problem.  Then the display started showing a red circle with a white X in the middle. I tried charging it, resetting it, and nothing. Now it is completely responsive with a black screen again after only 19 months (purchased end of Nov 2022), conveniently right  after it auto charged me for Fitbit Premium.

Hi, @Llamabama , welcome to the community, Small wearable devices have a finite life span dictated by the number of charge/discharge cycles they've been through. You may still be covered by Fitbit's return and warranty policy depending on where you are and when & from whom you bought it. You should reach out to "Customer Support" online or via the help section of the Fitbit app. You will need the details on when, where & who you bought it from if the agent is to process your claim.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
