Charge 5 - display remains blank

13 months after having the second Fitbit Charge 5 i have form yesterday the common problem with blank screen. Device is fully charged, synced with iphone, tried all tricks for reset and changing clock display, but remains blank and totally unresponsive. As other member wrote "I changed the clock face in the app, and that didn’t do anything. I reset it while on the charger with the three presses in eight seconds, and that didn’t do anything. So then I went into the app and disconnected the device and then deleted the app and reinstalled the app and then reconnected my charge five and for a while it worked. But then about two hours later, it went dark again and I haven’t been able to revive it" Same to mine!! I need to know if there is an option for replacement or a good discount voucher for buying a new one 6 or 5 model. Any solution form Google/Fitbit ?? Andreas from Europe, Greece, Athens.

Fitbit Charge 5 is a piece of garbage.  It has never recorded my sleep ever.  I had the black screen and with help from customer service I was able to get it working again.  A year later I’ve got the same problem and am ready to run it over with my car.  Every reset and hard reset description online will not work.  My charging cable doesn’t have a button to push three times.  My Fitbit app Settings, doesn’t have an “About” to scroll down to.  There are not side buttons to push and hold.  I love it when it works despite the fact the sleep function doesn’t function.  But, it smells bad—always has—and if I run it over, I will never have to clean my watch or deal with this black screen ever again!!  Do NOT buy Fitbit products.  They used to be good, but not any more.

I believe Fitbit devices purchased in the EU have a 2 year warranty. To start the warranty process, please contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.
