My new Fitbit Charge 5 is not tracking floors. Has anyone experienced the same issue and possibly knows if I can do anything about it?

It doesn't have an altimeter, so can't track floors.

Is there a plan to enable altimeter capability in future Charge 5 updates, or any future Charge models ?  Coming from Charge 2 and Charge 4, this is a necessary feature for me.

charge 5 doesn't have the altimeter hardware (from what i read) so it'll not be possible to get such functionality through software updates.
