So, I got the Charge 5 specifically for the ECG capability. It records 30 seconds. I had a bout of tachycardia last night. I hit the ECG and the for 14 seconds show a heartrate of about 214 bpm and dropped instantly to 92bpm for the remaining 16 seconds. Apparently this is not unusual for PSVT ( Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia).
When I go to the app, and just look at the graph for my entire days heart rate, there is no VERY large peak during this time.
So does it not register on the regular heartrate graph the true rate when the ECG is manually activated?
