Charge 5 doesn't track anything

I recently purchased the Charge 5, it is my 3rd Fitbit. I cannot stress how disappointed I am in the Charge 5. It doesn't track anything. I can't believe how terrible this product is. I have had the original and when that broke I bought the charge 4, loved that. My charge 4 recently broke so I figured I would upgrade to the Charge 5. Everyone please if you enjoy tracking your life do not buy the Charge 5!!  I'm heartbroken and disappointed in how terrible it is. Now I have to decide if I buy another Fitbit or just buy an Apple Watch.

I appreciate all the feedback that you've shared about the product. I'm sorry to see you're experiencing this problem with your Charge 5.  

 

Before considering other options, could you please provide a few extra details about this problem you mentioned earlier? What is the information that is not being tracked?
