My Fitbit 5 screen is frozen displaying the Fitbit logo. It is fully charged and I've tried plugging it in and pressing the button on the adaptor cord following troubleshooting instructions. I can't clear the screen to see the time/activities screens etc. Does anyone have a solution?

I don't think this is an SDK issue. By 'Fitbit 5', do you mean 'Fitbit Charge 5'?

I'm having the same issue, since I updated the app last week. I've done all the basic troubleshooting - restarting the Fitbit Charge 5, uninstalled the app, installed it again, turned on and off the bluetooth, pressed the button on the charging cable 3 times, removed device from the app, turned off the phone, turned off GPS, triple checked all the settings. Moved everything over to Google (thinking maybe it wasn't working until I do) I can wear the Fitbit for about half a day, then black screen or the logo will start flashing, won't do anything until I attach it to the power cable then I can see the screen. Oh, I even changed the clock option. I've done all of these steps multiple times, in different orders. The Fitbit Charge 5 isn't that old, so it isn't a battery issue.... something happened with the last update, but I can't figure out what else to do. (Just as an FYI - iPhone 12, iOS 17.6.1, Fitbit Charge 5 since April 2023) I didn't do anything to the fitbit, no trauma to it, just normal wearing it around. Gladly take advice on what else I can do aside from all the basic troubleshooting restarting device options which have been already done and done again.

I think they did an update that bricked the charge 5s ... I had the same issue, it's barely a year old. Did all the troubleshooting with customer service and all they could do is offer me a coupon to buy another device.
I dont know why they won't honor the warranty given it was perfectly fine, barely any wear& tear... they never responded to my follow-up.
When I checked the forum, so many other users are having this same issue right now, so I think it's something on Fitbits end to force users to upgrade (notice in the google store they no longer sell the charge 5... so they're probably trying to force users to upgrade).
Seems sketchy.

Unfortunately this is what is happening to hundred of people who dares to come and share the experience of looking a 200 dollars device abruptly close to the 2 years warranty expiry date.
Support won’t help you.
I switches to another brand

I am having a very similar problem. Overnight it stopped working around 1:09 AM - that is when it says my sleep ended (I woke up around 6:45 AM). When I connected it to the charger, it came right back. This afternoon, it stopped again. When I connected it, it said I had 91% battery, and the clock said 1:11 PM (it was 2:30). When I sync'd through the app, the time reset.

My Charge 5 has the same issue. Interesting that it also says 91% charged (I do not believe that is correct). Can't sync, can't change clock, resetting does nothing. This is the 2nd Fitbit Charge 5 that quit this way. I am switching to an alternate. fitness tracker.

100%! It's such a scam and these companies don't all the time. If the accountability isn't there they'll continue to screw us all.
My charge 5 stopped working too btw. 1 yr old, normal wear and tear. It's so frustrating!
