My Charge 5 is frozen with a red dot. I've tried plugging in the charger and pressing the button on the flat part three times. No luck. I've tried to turn it off by pressing the button on the flat part of the charger for 12 seconds. Also no luck. Any other suggestions?

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @GaryHonolulu.
I appreciate all the information that you've shared about this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and the troubleshooting steps that you already tried.
In addition to the three pulse restart you mentioned earlier, please let me know if it allows you to change the clock face on your device, as this has been useful for other users with similar problems.
I'll be around.

I have the same issue. The face has one red dot among the 5 gray dots. It won't show me any other screen then the battery charging rate when its on the charger. I can't do anything else with it.

I kept trying to reset it by plugging it into the charger and pushing the
button on the flat part three times. After my sixth attempt I got it to
reset and it works now. Hopefully you have the same experience. I pressed
the three buttons pretty quickly. Before I think I may have pushed the
buttons for too long or waited too long between pushes.

No, I couldn't get the clock faces to change but I finally was able to
reset it (after about 6 tries). All is good now (I think).
