Charge 5 gets hot while wearing it

After charging the Charge 5 the Display showed the red cross as described in many posts in this forum. After following the instruction given by the Fitbit moderators in this forum I was able to restart it.

After 1h wearing the Charge 5 the clock got very hot while wearing it on my wrist. I quickly took off the clock. Since then the display didn’t work and I couldn’t start it. As it got very hot while wearing it I will not try to charge it or start it again. Just imagine I would be asleep and wouldn’t realize that.

Hello @Flostwg 

You made the right call to stop wearing your Charge 5 after it got hot.

If your Charge 5 is less than a year old & you purchased it from an authorized seller, you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link) to see what are your options under warranty.
