Does the Charge 5 have a golf app to use a GPS on the course?

Hello @Kyleakakman

Yes, there is!  If you go to the Today screen in the App on your phone, tap on your profile picture, then Charge 5, you will see an Exercise Shortcuts option near the bottom of the page.

Tap this and then look at the Shortcuts you have listed, delete one you won't use by swiping left and touching delete (on an iPhone, Android might be slightly different).

Then you can tap on + Exercise Shortcut and choose Golf.

Sync your Charge 5 and it should turn up under Exercise.

When you want to play Golf, tap on the Golf shortcut, then scroll up past Set a Goal and there's a GPS setting that you can toggle On or Off.

When you've done that, you're ready to press Start to start recording your session and press Stop at the end.

The map should show up in your App when you sync again later.

I hope that helps.

It depends what you want to do with the Golf app.

On charge 5 the golf exercise (part of the exercise app, not an invidual app) tracks steps, calories, times and so on, in a nutshell like if you're tracking a walk but with a golf tag instead than walk. It has nothing to do with score tracking, distance from the par and so on.
