Hi about a month ago my fitbit started to lose its charge very rapidly, would run out in under a day whereas previously would last 4-5. Despite going through the app and turning off a number of the functions this continued. Then about 2 weeks ago it has become completely unresponsive even when on charge. Have attempted the reset via the charge cable but aside from the buzz and quick flick up of the fitbit logo it goes back to a black screen and no response. Can anyone give advice on anything else that can be tried because currently the fitbit is completely unresponsive

Hi, @Stephhy2001 sometimes changing the clock face fixes this issue. You do that in the app - from the opening screen click on the icon top left (smart phone and watch). On the next screen click on your Charge 5 and then choose Gallery -> clock faces and choose a different face. Be sure to sync your Fitbit whenever you make any changes in the app. If this fixes your issue you can go back to the previous clock face if you prefer.
Also, do make sure your Fitbit is getting a good charge. Make sure the plug you are using is working. It’s also a good idea to make sure the contacts are clean. Please see this help article for troubleshooting Fitbit charging issues.
Good luck, and welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks, unfortunately doesn't appear to work for me, the fitbit isn't syncing (hasn't now for 13 days according to the app).
Trying to reconnect the fitbit but it isn't found on the bluetooth search either. It honestly looks like that it's trying to restart with the logo flashing up but then crashing as the screen goes back immediately after. Only other think it displays is a red circle with an x in the middle if left on charge (know this means a failed setup/connection) but running out of ideas on what to do next
