A week or so ago my Charge 5 suddenly was 5 minutes slow time wise.
The phone app seems to connect but connecting via Charge 5 says phone not found.
one more screwed up software on Fitbit?

Hi there, @Proftom. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not showing the correct time. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that the time will be wrong if your Charge 5 hasn't synced recently as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. Since you're running into syncing issues, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue is still not solved, but you can confirm that your Charge 5 is syncing, please try changing your time zone to a completely different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.

I tried to respond once from the email, and then received a message I was not able to respond this way.  Boo, this Fitbit community thing does not work.
I like the device, just that you all do not support this well.  Below is what I responded. (and the message kept getting rejected... Boo again)

Thanks for the reply.
I turned of and then turned on the Fitbit app on my iPhone, and it would not reconnect.
I suspect the Charge 5 is ‘dying’, which is only a year later after I bought it.
Seems typical product life of these devices (not just Fitbits). Cheap “stuff” assembled in China? The price tag does not reflect cheap stuff.
